Office Mini Golf Walkthrough
Office Mini Golf is an entertaining golf game that gives you the option of playing the front nine, the back nine or all eighteen holes of the office themed golf course. You can also choose between playing by yourself or with three other players in four player game mode as well as choose between eight different golf ball colors. This allows you to have more of a choice over what kind of game you want to play and offers a level of customization not typically found in most of the other golf games online. While changing the color of your ball won't change your performance, it does give the game a more individualized feel and sets the game apart from the competition. The graphics in this game are also some of the best that you'll find in a golf game but the game isn't so graphics intensive that it won't run smoothly on slower computers.
The goal of Office Mini Golf is pretty standard golf game stuff. You want to try to get the ball in the hole in as many strokes as possible. The lowest score wins the game. If you can make at least par on each hole, you should finish in pretty good shape, but that isn't always going to be easy. On the left side of the game screen, you'll see what par is for that hole. Immediately below that, you'll see how many strokes you have taken. That information can be either encouraging or discouraging depending on how you're doing in the level. Try not to let frustration get the best of you. Even if you completely blow a hole, there's always the chance you'll be able to make it up in the next round. On top of that, the game is fairly short so you can always choose to play again and try to do better the second time around.
The best thing about Office Mini Golf is that in a world of games like the golf game genre, it's often hard to find something unique. Most games present you with the same type of courses so getting the chance to play in a different environment can be a lot of fun. Offering you the chance to basically play on an office desk keeps things fresh and interesting. There are a variety of hazards you have to avoid and obstacles what will make it harder for you to make par for each hole. Some of those obstacles - mice, cell phones and things of that nature - will move making it necessary to time your shot carefully.
If you want to do well in Office Mini Golf and get at least par on each hole, you're going to have to rely on bank shots for many of the courses. For newcomers to online golf games that might pose a problem. Bank shots can take a bit of getting used to. You have to hit the bank at the right angle to get it to bounce back in the right direction. In the beginning, this will take a little getting used to. The great thing about bank shots is that once you get used to them, they're actually fairly easy to do. The obstacles will always change which will keep things interesting but don't get too frustrated if you can't get the hang of it right away. You will improve in time.
Overall, Office Mini Golf is one of the most unique and entertaining golf games online with challenging courses that will keep you on your toes. More experienced players might find the actual golf a bit on the easy side but will love the new and interesting theme offered here. While many of the other golf games just feel like more of the same, this one offers the same controls and the same basic goal, but presents it in a new and fun way which makes it appealing. As long as you think about your shot before you take it, pay attention to obstacles and learn from your mistakes as you play, you should have little trouble getting at least par on each hole. If you're a fan of online gold games, this is one you need to check out!
